Our History...
1974 - Help wanted at Stamford Florist & Flower Delivery. James Ferraro, then just a teen, decided to shift gears. He applied to help the lovely ladies at Stamford Florist & Flower Delivery to deliver flowers after school. Never would he have imagined that a few years later, after a little good old fashioned hands-on training and a delivery mishap that lead to a crash course in design, that the opportunity to own Stamford Florist & Flower Delivery would present itself to him. Then just 20, a graduate of Stamford Catholic High School, he did what any man his age would do; he consulted his beloved mother Mary. With faith, ambition and the love, support, and assistance of his mother, he gladly accepted the challenge.
Their mission was to remain true to their roots; to continue pedaling quality fresh cut flowers and plants. To provide the friendly service of delivering smiles to each and every customer, one bouquet at a time; a real florist.
With drive and passion and handful of mentors and helpful hands, Oh, how it flourished! Today, celebrating over 40 years in business, he still holds fast to those traditions and principles. Providing quality products and design, paired with excellent customer service; a pleasant experience to every single customer.

For your gift giving convenience we provide fruit and gourmet baskets, decadent truffles specially hand crafted for Stamford Florist & Flower Delivery by The Sweet Shop USA, a variety of wine including selections from local vineyards, and for an extra special finishing touch prosecco and champagne.

Stamford Florist & Flower Delivery’s fresh flowers are guaranteed to last at least 5-7 days, or we will replace them! Please note the attached care instructions to ensure beautiful, long-lasting flowers. We are proud to stand behind every product we sell. If at any time your purchase does not meet your expectations, we will gladly replace it.

For special deliveries outside of our usual delivery area or scheduled hours we are happy to work with you to accommodate these requests. Please call and speak with one of our representatives if you wish to do so.
Substitution Policy
We strive to create stunning arrangements with the highest quality flowers. Occasionally substitutions may be necessary due to availability of certain flowers. Care is always taken to maintain style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement. In single-flower arrangements we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.
Occasionally we may need to substitute keepsake containers, based on availability, especially during major holidays. If you are envisioning a particular arrangement or flower be included or used to create a piece for you please place your order in advance to ensure that we are able to guarantee your request.
Delivery Policy
Same day delivery is available around the corner or around the country! We are happy to accommodate local same day deliveries placed by 2pm.
Please be aware that we will do our best to honor delivery time frames requested on website orders but cannot guarantee exact timing. If timing is of the essence or if it is after 2 pm to ensure that your gift can still be hand-delivered please contact us directly at (203) 327-2170.
Please note that for deliveries outside of Stamford, and within our local delivery area, our delivery rate will vary. Deliveries outside of our area will be designed and delivered by one of our trusted partners. Please note that prices and designs may vary based on availability.
